About Jocelyne
With her trusted Olympus E1 always by her side, Jocelyne Vautour has become a popular and welcome presence in Moncton's thriving music community over the past four years. Many of her pictures have been featured in publications thoughout the East Coast as well as online and on CD packages. Groups such as Chris Colepaugh and the Cosmic Crew, Glower, Tracy Starr, The Divorcees, Sue Leger, and Iron Giant have repeatedly counted on her to present their image both to their fans and to the Canadian Recording Industry.
Word has spread of her talent from the muddy shores of Moncton's Petitcodiac, making Vautour a sought after live and studio photographer throughout the Maritimes and Canada. No genre is too taboo for this go-anywhere photographer who has been known to brave even the most turbulent of mosh pits for that "perfect shot". From country to death metal, roadhouse to stadium, Vautour is equally at home.
True to her humble approach, Jocelyne says this of her hard-earned and respected position in Moncton's music scene:
"I just like being in the moment with artists and capturing that special little thing that makes them 'them' - whether it's live at the show or at home on photoshop. It's great being able to contribute."
